Osteopathic Physician Vol. 5-8; 1904-1905. Bound journals from the publication "Osteopathic Physician", published by American Osteopathic Association in Chicago, bound journals are Osteopathic Physician Vol. 5 No. 2 - Vol 8 No. 7 and are not in chronological order or complete volumes, red hardcover book with gold text embossed on the spine "Osteopathic Physician 5-8 1904-1905 Kirksville College of Osteopathy & Surgery", 25.2 cm (w) x 30.5 cm (h) x 2.1 cm (d). Pages are yellowed with age, are missing sections and are taped in places; stamped in black along the edges of the text block is "Property of KCOS Library", written in pencil on the inside front cover is "v. 5 (1) Dec 1903 - found between v. 8 Aug & Oct of 1905"; pages 5-6 of vol 8 #4 has a top corner missing it has been patched but the information there has been lost; at the end of vol 7 # 3 there is a two page insert bound within the book of "The Plain Truth Dr. Murray of Elgin replied to Dr Bunting" it is longer than the typical pages of the journal and has been folded at the bottom to fit, the edges of the folded section are tearing and it is bound in such a way that the text near the spine is barely legible; vol 7 # 4 is stained from past water damage; inside back cover has a library out card, back cover has some sun bleaching. |
