Still College and Infirmary of Osteopathy to George Stoerlein for $15, the College name is stamped above the treasurer's signature in green, also stamped in green is the date, stamped in blue-green is "PAID / MAY 23 1900 / MARQUARDT SAVINGS BANK, / DES MOINES, IOWA.", stamped in purple is the number seven, back is signed by George Stoerlein, stamped in purple is "Pay ANY BANK OR BANKER, / OR ORDER / DICKINSON COUNTY BANK, / SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA. / F. H. DALEY, Cashier.", stamped in blue is "1 / PAID / THROUGH CLEARING HOUSE / MAY 23 1902 / CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK / DES MOINES, IOWA"; 16.6 cm (w) x 7.3 cm (h). Discoloration and yellowing, brown stain on right side likely from water damage, black and brown spots and marks, some pink stains, three vertical creases from folding, edges and corners worn, right side and edge of the check waves, upper left and both right corners bent. |
