Swanson typed in black ink on white paper and attached to page 213 of the Laughlin Portrait Committee Correspondence Scrapbook, letterhead reads "American Osteopathic Association Office of GEORGE V. WEBSTER, D.O. Past President Strickland Bldg. Carthage, N. Y.", letter praises the plan to have a portrait painted of Dr. Laughlin and suggests that asking for only one to two dollars would get a wider response from the profession; 21.4 cm (w) x 27.8 cm (h). Paper yellowing, black spots and marks, brown spots and stains, top left corner worn, two horizontal creases from folding. |
