Article Concerning a Newly Discovered Photographic Negative of an Indignation Meeting attached to page 14 of the Ilgenfritz Scrapbook, clipping taken from the Globe-Democrat, article concerns a negative of an indignation meeting held after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln in 1865 and provides an overview of the events of the meeting and the appeal of the negative; 17.6 cm (w) x 4.5 cm (h). Paper yellowing, some brown stains, top edge torn off removing most of the title, both upper corners torn off, additional tearing and bending in upper right corner, tear in bottom and top edges, clipping attached with tape across the top rather than glue, tape is discoloring. |
