Swanson handwritten in black ink on cream paper and attached to page 122 of the Laughlin Portrait Committee Correspondence Scrapbook, letterhead reads "STATE OF CONNECTICUT BOARD OF OSTEOPATHY OFFICE OF THE TREASURER STAMFORD" below the seal of the board showing berries above a ribbon reading "QUI TRANSTULITSUST INET" surrounded by "SICILLUM REIPUBLICAE CONNECTICUTENSIS" on the left side and "DR. L. C. KINGSBURY, PRES. DR. H. A. THORNBURY, SEC'Y DR. E. C. LINK, TREAS." on the right side, letter concerns a ten dollar donation to the Laughlin Portrait Fund and praises Dr. Laughlin; 21.2 cm (w) x 19.2 cm (h). Paper yellowing, black marks and smudges, one horizontal and two vertical creases from folding. |
