Swanson handwritten in black ink on a half sheet of cream paper and attached to page 42 of the Laughlin Portrait Committee Correspondence Scrapbook, letterhead reads "DRS. CARTER AND HOOGBRUIN OSTEOPATHIC PHYSICIANS 1002 1/2 PROSPECT STREET LA JOLLA, CALIFORNIA" in blue ink, letter concerns a donation to the Laughlin Portrait Fund and praises Dr. Laughlin; 15.2 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h). Paper yellowing, some brown stains, black marks and smudges, one horizontal crease from folding, left edge bent. |
