Description Rotary Brace used by George Laughlin; No Date. Silver metal rotary brace for holding a bit to perforate bone, manual crank for operating drill, "ZIMMER MFG. CO. WARSAW INDIANA" (written on side of crank mechanism); 6.7 cm (w) x 28.5 cm (l). Much of the finished surface has come off, screw securing crank handle is oxidized, crank moves freely, adhesive residue on the butt end of the object, yellow residue on the handle of the object.
