The first page of the book inside the front cover has a hand written note reading "To Morris Thompson with greatest respect to our foremost college president. With so much respect for all your contributions to our profession. Sincerely Dudley Chapman";14.5 cm (w) x 22 cm (h) x 3.3 cm (d) and 325 pages. The book is in good general condition with some fading and stain marks on the back cover. The corners are dented, and there is a slight acid stain on the page edges.
